Well a website is great but it really doesn't do any good unless brides can find you by using a search engine like Google.

Do you currently advertise in a magazine?  

That sounds good but really your market is small, because it only is seen by people in Des Moines who happen to be getting married. Really that's a small percentage of couples. Also you are depending on a bride to go to page 50 at the bottom of the page to find your ad.Magazines make it hard for brides to shop for exactly what they want.

 Do you advertise in the yellow pages?  

That's great but it really doesn't help if someone is getting married in Des Moines and  are not able to see your ad from there location. Also the yellow pages are horrible for viewing the quality of work you do at your business. The saying goes"brides shop with there eyes first." In other words, brides don't look at a phone number and address and get excited about your quality of work.

Do you advertise on a website that markets to the entire state? 

It's fine that you want to cover the entire state, but put yourself in the bride's shoes. There are thousands of vendors just in Des Moines, why would they want to go all over the entire state to find one vendor, it doesn't make sense. Also they probably won't search Iowa Vendor; they will probably search Des Moines vendors.

With gas prices who wants to drive all over the state to get business when there is more then enough just here around Des Moines.
